Some of the individuals who signed up for my subscription list apparently have .wordpress.com blogs or sites associated with the emails they submitted to be signed up with.

Because of this, they are not receiving my emails (the subscription is to an email system, so it’s not new content that their WordPress accounts get notified about). On top of that, some of the WordPress sites/blogs are old, so the user no longer remembers access to it.

Is there a way to disconnect their emails from their WordPress accounts?

    Thanks!

Did these readers run into these issues when trying to subscribe manually, as I suggested in the other thread you started here?

If so, you could point these users to the password reset page here:
    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Once they have access to their account again, they’ll be able to change the email linked to their account.

It’s worth noting that even if their email address is linked to a WordPress.com account, they’ll still receive a confirmation email when subscribing to a Jetpack site. If you think that doesn’t work on your site, could you let me know your site URL so I can run some tests?

The previous thread was marked as resolved and (though still subscription) was an unrelated issue.

I am assuming your response means that there isn’t a way to prevent the plugin from drawing in their wordpress.com accounts and that each user much individually change their emails associated with their accounts?

The confirmation email is not necessarily the issue. The users have not been receiving the emails that they subscription is for.

    That’s correct.

The users have not been receiving the emails that they subscription is for.

That seems like an issue. Could you send me an email via this contact form with some examples, so I can take a look at our logs and see what happened?

    Thanks!
