• Hey all,

First post here so apologies for any mistakes.

I’m having an issue where when I go to edit a post on my blog, or even just a page of the site, it brings me to a page where none of the interface is loaded. All it presents me with is a mixture of links that should be a menu, some workable boxes with lots of links and text overlapping into it — basically, no formatting is present, and I can’t edit any pages. I’ve tried to attach a screenshot but can’t figure out how; is it supposed to be a link? How would I go about linking a screenshot to this post?

I’ve already tried disabling all of my addons and it’s still happening. I used a mix of elementor and the standard WP builder to get my website functioning, but by disabling my addons, I think it showed that addons weren’t the problem. I’ve already tried clearing my cache, and using chrome>opera for a browser.

Anyone know the answer??? This is very frustrating! Any help appreciated!

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Wouldn’t I lose my current site layout/text etc if I changed my theme?

No, just use the Health Check plugin to do this as mentioned above.
