Stuck on the same step again

    Hello Lynton,

    It has been a long time, I hope you are well!
    I am writing to you because the problem that occured at the beginning is back. I have had to shut down the site for a little bit more than a month for a variety of reasons (not related to the site), just got back at it and updated wp and the plugins, was going through site tests to see if everything was fine, and there it was : when opening a workflow and clicking on the “start” or “next” button to go on to the next step, the animation appears, but I stay stuck on the same step 🙁
    Do you know what’s going on?

    Using wp 4.2.1
    Using work the flow 2.5.4
    Tested in Chrome and in Firefox with both last versions, working in none of them.

    This problem is usually either the theme or a plugin causing a javascript error after the wtf-fu plugin has already returned and results in the page not updating even though the wtf-fu plugin itself has succeeded.

    Symptomatic of this is that if you refresh the page you will see that it has moved onto the next stage but does not update until refreshed.

    So try the default theme and disable the other plugins to workout where the issue is this time.

    Hello Lynton,

    I followed your advice and disabled the theme and switched to a wp basic theme. The workflow worked again. It seems to be an incompatibility with the theme. I already sent an email to the theme’s developer to ask him if he could investigate. Do you have any recommendations to what the source of the problem could be? Even when refreshing the page, I still stay stuck on the same step, it does not move forward.

    If you have any custom functions in your functions.php file then check there are no empty blank lines at the bottom of the file . Some others have reported this as causing problems. Other than that try a clean install of your theme and redo any custom modifications you have made.
