If the downloaded item is processed through WordPress yes, otherwise if it is just a file on your server that is downloaded outside of WP, then no.

You mean it should be in the uploads folder? if yes. in which part of the stats page it should appear, would you please provide a screen shot where can i find it?

Not quite what I meant, even if it’s in the uploads folder, if you directly link to it (something like http://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/file.zip) then WP Statistics won’t track it.
If it is being downloaded through WP, then you can see the stats in the Statistics->Pages page.
