I cant check the debug log
@oneillsjennifer, you must be checking some older thread, we don’t have any debug option anymore.
Also, if you can’t check the debug log, can you please check the console for ajax response.
You can open the console for chrome using following instructions: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/console
Firefox: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Browser_Console
Go to Network tag, and click the bulk smush and check the response.
Please cope up with all the technical details for now, we are in process of making error reporting a bit simpler.

I need to know the response of Ajax request.

Can you install, Force Regenerate Thumbnails.
And check for attachment id in console, https://monosnap.com/file/9JNKTlErtvs22wQWz9wTlNvn4HpTUe
And regenerate the thumbnail for the image, you are having issue with.
