  • The author of Smooth Slider said a year ago that he would release this feature in the next version.

    Any news on that?

Kindly let us know if you are going to have a single slider showing only events Or it will have regular posts as well. Since we are having a Taxonomy Add-on which auto fetches events from WP Event Category and show them inside the slider. We can make changes in the add-on to hide the events which has been expired. This add-on will also help you in creating a slider from a particular Event Category or Tag as well.

You need to use the add-on along with the slider. Taxonomy add-on is compatible with all SliderVilla sliders so once we make the changes, the feature will become available in all SliderVilla sliders including Roster and Smooth.

Expected release date for Taxonomy Add-on update – Aug 28, 2014

Please let me know if it is fine. Thanks for your patience.

    Best Regards,
    SliderVilla Support Team

I am interested in this feature as well. I currently use smooth slider in conjunction with All In One Event Manager from Timely. I want to be able to combine both featured events and content in one slider if possible.
