Hi well the thing is the sitemaps can’t really be found since they don’t actually exist 🙂 When the sitemap links are visited it’s not any “actual files” or anything that’s viewed, instead it’s dynamic content from the database that’s presented.
So this means you can’t really edit them sorry (unless you dig into the plugins php files).
Have no idea how to change from http to https, but one thing you can do though is force it with htaccess. Can’t really remember how to do it, but it’s one way to ensure that everyone who visits does it with https.

If you correctly moved your site to https, bc. sitemap are dynamic, all links are changed to https. So if some links exist there with http, it means, these links real exist with http what is not the best 😉
Anyway you can try this plugin

To check and replace any old http links to https in database. Also you have to put redirect to .htaccess that anything with http is redirected to https.
Don’t forget to backup database first, bc. what you will change with that plugin you can change back 🙂

Thank you for your responses.
i will try the better-search-replace plugin. i have been through all of the php database files and updates all of the link i found to https.
i have set up redirects in .htaccess, but also wanted to tidy up all of the internal links to https for whole of site consistency.
