I had a similar issue a few months ago. IN my case a blank index.html was placed in my directory so when I tried to view my site it directed to that file rather than the WP files

Thanks for the advice and link but still no luck. I’ve looked for a blank index but found nothing, all my index files look like they should. The closest to getting some sort of response from my blog is to add a space in my DB username and all that does is give me a 500ISE and when i try to log in i get this

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay)
upload fresh WP instance. Change your ADMIN, FTP, CP access details. Change the files permission.
I’ve replaced my wp-admin and includes folder about 3 times already. The only one i haven’t replaced is the content folder i’ve even edited some of the information in my config.php. I’ve changed the permission on a few of my files already.
forgot to mention. it’s not only my homepage that loads blank i can’t access my wp-admin page either.
check also wp-content folder. may be your theme files are hacked. also check .htaccess code.
MY content folder is clear and my htaccess has only two things in it
