Site kit cannot display Adsense data

    I installed site kit a few days a go. Other things in the dashboard are displaying content except for the Adsense area.
    It displays an error; “Data error in AdSense
    <h1>Error establishing a database connection</h1>”

    Kindly help me understand why that is the case and what I can do.

    Hi @kwerondaa,

    We are currently investigating similar reports of this, with more details in the GitHub issue below:

    While I’ll add your site to that related issue if you could share the below information this may be useful to try and determine the cause:

    1. Your Site Health information and current hosting provider. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Do you see any browser console errors on pages with this error? If so please share the messages that appear.
    3. Do you see any errors or warnings when checking your Site Health status (which differs to your Site Health information)?

    Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    im hosting with hostinger

    I have just learnt that Adsense disaproved my website. Possibly because it is partly a blog and a directory listings website. So they are probably saying I have thin content for the directory listings.
    How can I be helped in that area?
    I probably need to explain to them that the thin content is the directory listings.
    Can I be helped here?

    Thanks for the additional details. While you kindly shared a screenshot of your Site Health status – which does indicate a REST API error we didn’t get your Site Health information report, which differs to your Site Health information. Can you share this using this form while including your current hosting provider where requested.

    Sorry to hear that. While we’re limited to Site Kit support here the product experts at the AdSense Help Center should be able to assist. If it was content based as you mentioned it may simply be a case of adding more, I can’t be sure.
