I’ve an error 500 on my site and the email from wordpress stated that it was the Jetpack plugin

En este caso, WordPress detectó un error con uno de tus plugins,Jetpack.

Primero visita tu web (https://italysport.mx/) y revisa cualquier problema visible. A continuación visita la página donde se capturó el error (https://italysport.mx/wp-admin/admin.php?page=super-simple-tools) y revisa cualquier problema visible.

I deactivated the plugin and tried different solutions but none of them worked, I’ve the version 15.3.1.

A la hora de buscar ayuda con este problema puede que se te pida algo de la siguiente información:
    Versión de WordPress 6.9.1
    Tema activo: Hchild (versión 1.0)
    Plugin actual: Jetpack (version 15.3.1)
    Versión de PHP: 8.1.33

I also proved to eliminate the plugin and reinstall, but now it displays an error on the supercharge my site page.

And I’m stucked there because I Keep gettin the 500 error message.

How can I fix this problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hey @eliashmI’ll be replying in English. Feel free to continue in English, or you can continue responding in your preferred language, and I will translate your message into Google Translate if you’d like. In the same way, you can also use Google Translate to translate my message into your preferred language.

I checked your website from my end, and it is currently not loading at all in my browser. Could you please confirm whether the site is working for you? Or are you also experiencing the same issue that I’m seeing? Here is a screenshot for your reference.

If you’re seeing the same problem, I recommend contacting your hosting provider to investigate why the site is not loading. They should be able to check the server status, error logs, or restrictions that might be causing this issue.

Additionally, please ask your hosting provider to whitelist our IP addresses to ensure there are no blocks preventing proper communication. This can help avoid connection issues.

Also, please note that the current latest version of Jetpack is 15.5. I recommend updating the plugin to the latest version before attempting to reconnect Jetpack to your site, as running the most recent version helps prevent compatibility and connection issues.

Hi Animesh, thanks for your response.

We can have the conversation in english, both languages work just fine for me, thanks for suggesting it though.

I do see my website the same way as you, with the error 500.

On the same email that WordPress sent, was the line of the error:

    “Detalles Del Error
    ==================
Se produjo un error de tipo E_PARSE en la línea 289 del archivo /home/italysp1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-my-jetpack/src/products/class-creator.php. Mensaje de error: Unterminated comment starting line 289″

As you recommended, I wrote my host provided to check wether the server was limiting some functions and the response was that the server is working fine and run a testpage – https://italysport.mx/test.html, I also asked the to add you IP address to the the whitelist and ask them for the server error log to see if we can understand a little bit more. They still haven’t replied this second mail.

Just to finish, I just updated the plugin to the version 15.5 and still, experiencing the seme problem, even when I activate the WordPress debug mode, the result is the same.

    Hi Animesh,

The host providing company just responded saying that they cannot add you to the whitelist due to it’s a shared server, and it could compromise the security of the other users.

In terms of the error log, the displayed error was this:

    “[Wed Feb 11 13:20:24.151262 2026] [access_compat:error] [pid 2801725:tid 2801725] [client 15.204.100.65:53290] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/italysp1/public_html/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/

Hey @eliashm – Thank you for the information! Since you’re experiencing the same issue when loading the website as I am on my end, the first step is to get the site working again.

Please log in to your site via FTP or your hosting file manager and temporarily remove the jetpack folder from wp-content/plugins/. After that, check whether the site loads properly?

If the site is still not working, I recommend contacting your hosting provider to resolve the underlying issue first so the site is fully functional. Once the site starts working again, we can proceed with reinstalling and setting up Jetpack plugin.

    Hi there, @eliashm,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hi Stef, thanks for the follow up

I’m still encountering issues, but I think it’s more related to the server than the plugin. You can close the thread.

    Thanks again.
