Sidebar Recent Posts per Webpage

    What if I only want the recent post to show in the side bar for the page I’m on. For instance…

    Chris Rock page –> sidebar only recent post for Chris Rock

    Also, this has to be dynamic…so every page works the same way with the sidebar…

    Web page –> recent posts in sidebar for that page

    You will need to have multiple sidebars in order to do this.

    You can download a plugin called “Custom Sidebars”

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/

    This plugin allows you to have different sidebars for each page, therefore you can add different widgets for each page.

    Thanks for the response Dazeh10. I also tried to achieve this by using both the Custom Sidebars and Simple Page Sidebars plugins and It does nothing. Does the Magazinestyle theme even support additional/custom sidebars? I have enable the JavaScript console. It did not show errors. I also deactivated all other plugins…still no sidebar.

    All I’m trying to achieve is to render only the recent/popular post(s) to show in the side bar for the page I’m on. For instance…
