I have tried with the shortcodes that are explained at the jetpack docs, but also by just pasting in a new line the facebook post link or instagram link. Could it be a cloudflare problem cause before moving to a new server everything was ok, and at the old server i didn’t have cloudflare? sitelink

- Do you have any examples of the shortcode failing that you can link me to?
- What exactly happens when a shortcode fails? Do you receive an error message?
I tried with every type of facebook links or instagram, for example this one:

or this one:
https://www.instagram.com/p/_2Zbo4ixMd/
2. It doesn’t show an error or something but it just shows as a plain text and not like the other links from twitter or youtube. For example when i paste the url of a youtube video or a twitter posts it automaticlly embeds into the editor, but for facebook and instagram it doesn’t work.
Thanks for the links! I tested this out with the same Facebook post on my own test site, and both methods (the URL alone and the [embed] shortcode) both worked as expected for me.
It’s worth noting that the Facebook embed preview does not currently work in the visual editor. However, upon publishing, the embed displays properly. This is a known issue, and you can learn more about it here:
