Sharing: Email not working

Sharing via email popup stopped working, instead it opens a new window with “msg-fail” on the URL.

It seems that the jQuery click binding on the anchor elements broke because of other code on our website that does a jQuery ajax call. If I disable that it goes back to functioning correctly, however this feels wrong.

In fact, even if I do “$.get(‘example.php’)” from Chrome’s dev console after the page loads, Sharing click bindings break.

Is this a known issue, or is a way to remedy this?
