Hello,
To answer your questions:
1) Departments should show up aslong as their configured in osticket and are not hidden (hidden departments in osticket won’t show). if nothing shows even tho you have public departments please let me know your osticket version.
2) Text options depend on your WordPress settings, it uses your default wordpress text editor settings, where for most it won’t show much options unless your a higher level admin etc.
3) reCaptcha should adjust the language to your wordpress language, so if your wordpress is english it should show up in english.. dutch for dutch.. etc 🙂
Hi,
Thanks for your amazing quick reply 🙂
1) If by “hidden” you mean “Private”: Both departments are configured as “Public”.
I’m using v1.9.12 (19292ad)
Are “Categories” the same thing as “Help Topic”?

Please, confirm.
Thanks!
Ah, in our case we use 2 things:
1) Department (categories found at: Staff –> Departments)
2) Help topic (Help topics configured underneath that Department).
Sorry, but I’m not sure if you have replied to my question.
1) There’s no “Staff” menu but “Agents” for me and all of the are configured “Public”.
2) Help Topic is under Admin Panel > Manage and both are also “Public”
So, why I still don’t see anything in “Categories”?
I did actually.
Help topic = not Categories.
Departments = Categories.
Based up on Department –> it will show Help topics AFTER selecting the category.
in admin panel you will need to go to Staff –> Departments
once departments are set –> Configure help topics under specific departments.
Then you will see both in our plugin.
Hi,
As you can see in the screenshot, it has been set as you said:

Please, correct me if I’m wrong.
Thanks
that looks fine,
can you show me your department configuration?
as the help topic only comes up second after department selection in our plugin.
Hi,
Sure, you will see it here:
Help topic: http://prnt.sc/8rupb6
Departements: http://prnt.sc/8ruqak
Please, advice.
Thanks!
domainpack, do you see your tickets in WordPress? First thing is to make sure it’s connecting to your OST database.
