Sorry for the late reply. Currently there is no global settings page where the default editor preference can be set.
But I’m planning to work on it.
For now you please go to plugn editor and change this in shortcoder.php https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/shortcoder/trunk/shortcoder.php#L111 to “visual” ?

Do I have to make the change after each update?
Without the changed code, it’s impossible to switch to the other editor options.
