• The plugin incorrectly uses the seopress_titles_canonical and seopress_social_og_url filters in SEOPress. It returns a URL instead of an HTML tag. As a result, the URL of all IDX pages is output twice at the top of my page and breaks the layout of the page. I have a number of sites that are busted looking now because of this. Additionally, the option to “Disable SEO Plugins on IDX Pages” does not apply to SEOPress. It only applies to Yoast, RankMath, and one other plugin.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We do recommend any users with third-party SEO plugins make iHomefinder pages exempt from their output as these plugins do not grab the correct information from our pages, and we have our own options built in to ensure correct meta tags and schema are output with the right details.

To assist users with this, we did recently release the “disable plugins on IDX pages” checkbox with support for the common SEO plugins that users had reported using. Since each SEO plugin functions uniquely, there was not a one size fits all solution. However, with the feedback you provided last week to support, we have initiated the request to our engineering team to support blocking the output from SEOPress as well on the pages we generate.

We are happy to continue discussing this with you through support@ihomefinder.com that way we can notify you when an update releases for this.
