Sending not working – checked all common errors
-
Hi there,
My email campaign has not gone off for over a week and I have changed it to “immediate” as well. It says “Active” and I checked there are no errors or “last seen errors” and Task Scheduler is “successful”?
Thanks

Hi there @boermark,
From your description, I believe you are likely referring to a Post Notification email in this case. Please let me know if you meant something different.
Please send over a screenshot of how the email is displaying under MailPoet > Emails > Post Notifications in your dashboard. I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply here.
Also, please copy and paste the information from MailPoet > Help > System Info, and send that over as well. Please make sure to remove your email address and any other private info that you don’t want shared in the forums first. However, please let us know the site URL where you are seeing this issue so we can double check your MailPoet account.
Hi there, thanks for the response.
Yes it is a post notification.

Thank you for that. Please also send over screenshots of:
– The “Post Selection” settings inside the Post Notification email itself
– Your list of posts that should have triggered the Post Notification to send
– The System Status page under MailPoet > Help > System Status. The trigger is an interesting point.
To be clear, when one sets the post to “immediate” – is that as soon as a new post is posted, or as soon as I click “activate”?
Thanks
Hi there @boermark,
To be clear, when one sets the post to “immediate” – is that as soon as a new post is posted, or as soon as I click “activate”?
If it’s a brand new Post Notification and it’s set to “Immediately”, and you have a number of Posts that should be matched by the settings (i.e. “category: Recent Events”), then it should send out as soon as you activate the email.
If it’s an existing Post Notification and it’s set to “Immediately”, then it will send out any NEW Posts as soon as you publish them.
In other words, the first time you activate it, it should send out any matching posts. After that, it will send out any new posts you publish.
There’s more info about all this in our Post Notification FAQ:

How do I delete this thread?
Hi again @boermark 👋🏽!
Found the problem – users imported from wordpress etc are not marked as confirmed users…
Thanks for confirming. As per deleting the thread I can mark it as resolved but I am not sure if there’s a way to delete it.
Would that be OK for you?
Thanks!
Thanks Dani, I would just like to delete the post with all the system info.
Hi again @boermark 👋🏽
Sure thing, I understand now. I am not sure on the procedure for that but I am doing some research and will get back to you as soon as I can point you in the right direction.
Hi again,
I have already reported it so that it can be deleted due to security issues.
Thanks!
