See Log for Bad Bot Feature

    Hi: in the Bad Bot feature (free version) it has “Log of Blocked Bots” which I would like to see, where can I see the log? Is it visible to see? Thank you.

    Hi Stratosphere

    Once you enable the “Track blocked bots” setting, all requests from blocked bots will be displayed below the “Log of blocked bots” setting.

    If you can’t see anything there (as seen in the screenshot above), then your site hasn’t received any requests of blocked bots yet.

    Hi Arnaud: Thanks for your response, but I have had bad bots hit our website, I have another security plugin that tracks them. I also added: Yandex, Yandex Spider, to block but they have hit the site in the past few days.
    When I check the “Log of Bad Bots” its empty.

    Shouldn’t it show the bots whether the other plugin blocked them or not?
    Thanks for your help. AIOSEO is a great plugin regardless.

    No, AIOSEOP only logs bots that it blocks, not ones that another plugin blocks.

    Okay thanks, I guess the other plugin kicks in first. Great plugin you have created, I’ve used AISEO for many years.
