running a duplicate theme on same site

    Hi,

    I understand it is possible to run 2 versions of a theme from the same server with linked content so it is seamless to visitor. This would give me added options on creating ‘custom’ sidebars and searches for special pages – if true. Can anyone steer me to a ‘how to’ on this subject please?
