I’d be interested in this also. 🙂
Hi,
are you using the free or premium version of the rtmedia plugin?
Can I get an account on a site with rtmedia to check it out? Thanks in advance.
Hi tuxlog,
My site is not live, still working on it.
I didn’t know they have premium? I’m not sure how the premium is any? but is the plugin that is.
Here is the plugin name: rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress
https://rtmedia.io/?utm_source=dashboard&utm_medium=plugin&utm_campaign=buddypress-mediaBut I provide a screenshot for the rtmedia, this is exactly how rtmedia go, is a lightbox (like facebook style) image on the left, comment will show above, comment box on the bottom right corner.

Please advise for any information.
ThanksI have the premium plugin and the other related paid plugins also.
Thanks for the information.
I think it is possible but will have a deeper look into it.
Stay tuned… 🙂I will add a beta support for this in the next release which will be published this weekend.
Please test it and give feedback.Hi tuxlog,
Sound very nice this happy-face feature can be add-in to the rtmedia.
Definitely can’t wait to test it out.. 🙂
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Hi Tuxlog,
Hmmm, not good for the 4.1 v, getting many errors?
————————-When I click the icon for pop-up, I get this below message? Even anywhere on the pop-up I clicked on as well?
wp-monalisa: Testarea not found. Please contact the webmaster of this site.

—————————–
There’s check marks for bbpress and buddypress. But, there’s nothing say to check for rtmedia? I check marked ALL these below three features.
Load javascript in page footer: [checked]
Show icons as popup: [checked]
Show Smilies before Submit Button: [checked]
—————————–Also nothing show up on the rtmedia? same as the previous photo.
Please advise, Thanks
Please deactivate Load javascript in footer.
This feature will only work with some themes. If you enable BuddyPress and bbPress, rtMedia is activated too.
Maybe I should change then name.-

Yes you are right. The new BP Theme has changes in HTML which mislead wp-monalisa to find the textarea.
I will release a new version during the next hours.
Should work then.
Hi Tuxlog,
Sound good, ya, I was wondering why it happen after my theme updated..
I haven’t update to 4.2 yet, but With this 4.1 updater, now even showing the 4 inline buttons was hidden (my own css) long ago I didn’t even remembered the buttons was exist LOL. No more table blocking it, the lightbox did the trick 🙂
I will update info once get the 4.2, if also 4.3 etc going.
As now, way 2 go for this new features and for the rtmedia :):)
Thanks so much for your wonderful job..
Hi Tuxlog,
I am wondering about the changing the name for the rtmedia, I already updated to 4.2, everything works great! Thanks for the updater btw.
But hmm? The rtmedia still not showing the (click to smile, icon) to click for pop-up?
I even did css to raise the rtmedia comment on the lightbox thought might hind behind it, nowhere to be find still?
Please see the previous photo where the rtmedia comment area, this is where I try to find.
Any idea why?
Please advise, Thanks

junglejim620. Reason: input extra comments
Mhm,…you mean the photo with the chess game, right?
This is working in chrome and firefox here.
I have an image in my activity stream.
Clicking on it brings up the lightbox from rtmedia (image left, comments right)
There I have the smilies and can add them to the comment textarea.Or is it somewhere else?
Hi tuxlog,
I already updated to 4.2. Ya, that’s right, the above chess photo, there’s no (Click to smile, icon) where the comment button area? I even checked Firefox.
It does shown on everywhere within the site like bp-activity stream, Leave A Reply and everywhere. (But not rtmedia)?
Please advise, Thanks

Hi Monalisa,
Your plugin works great for buddypress, but I am also using rtmedia plugin and there’s a lightbox pop-up window where people can write comments.
Is there’s a way I can hook this happy-faces feature into this rtmedia comment box as well?
Please advise thanks,
