• Hey guys,

    One of our clients is having an issue whereby the chat system does not ring for all available agents.

    They have multiple agents in their office who are online, but it only rings for some of them.

    We’ve updated to the latest version of the plugin. Could you shed some light on how the system pings an available agent? I’m not sure if their session is timing out or something, and why it only rings for some agents, and not others. Not sure what to tell the client.

    Hi @chadreitsma ,

    A few questions to better troubleshoot:

    A) Do they all share the same browser and browser settings?
    B) Is it the same people every time who do not get rings or is it random?
    C) Do the people who do not get rings get other notifications? (for example browser PUSH if on HTTPS)
    D) Can they see new chat requests regardless?

    Hi guys, our client has responded with the following, I’m not sure if this will be much help.

    A) Everyone is on Chrome except one who is on FireFox.
    B) They sometimes hear the ring and sometimes do not (it’s random)
    C) Yes they can receive pushes
    D) Everyone says they can see a new chat when it’s initiated and which agent accepts the chat – if they happen to be looking at the ‘Live Chat’ screen of course.

    I’m not really sure how you guys have things coded to ping/ring available agents.
