Thanks for reaching out. From inspecting your site I can see a valid AMP Analytics snippet placed. If you’ve been checking for active users in real time while visiting your site and you’re using the default Site Kit a Analytics configuration this may be an indication of the issue. The default configuration results in logged in users not being counted
So we can troubleshoot this further please access the reporting tool within analytics.google.com for the same connected property. I’m active on your site now so please check for traffic.
Thanks, James, for your support!
I know about this default configuration and already tried both options, but nothing changed. Also, I can’t see your traffic. And I use Parse.ly, another analytics tool where traffic exists, so we can see an issue with Google Analytics if we compare.
Also, the issue isn’t only with real-time users but also with research terms, sessions, bounce rate, and session duration. The only report is the number of users the days before.
I just sent feedback from Analytics
Thanks for the update. So rule out any third party conflicts can you follow the steps below:
- Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window
- Ensure you have logged in traffic counted within your Site Kit Analytics module configuration
- Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”. (This will temporarily deactivate other plugins, including Parse.ly, and switch to a default theme – for you only, as a logged in user).
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
- Visit your site once more in another tab (You’ll notice a core WordPress themes active while in troubleshooting mode)
Revisit the real time overview for that connected property (UA-175***8100-1) at analytics.google.com, from the same Google account which you’ve used to setup Site Kit
Let me know if you’re able to view any traffic in real time.
Oh yes! Now I can see the traffic! ๐
I forgot to change to a default theme when I first saw traffic, so it seems that the theme isn’t in conflict with Sit Kit.

That’s great, good to know!

Just to confirm the issue doesn’t occur with your Newspack theme active? If so you could try enable your plugins one by one while in troubleshooting mode to check where the issue lies.
Great AMP site by the way, have you applied for your site to be listed on the AMP plugin website showcases?
So, I reactivated plugins one by one without the Newspack Theme even if it causes no issue to be sure at the beginning until I found a plugin making Google Analytics not working! It was the Newspack Campaigns plugin that was making stop working Google Analytics ๐ฎ
So I deactivated it, and I retrieved Google Analytics in a good state. So I continued to activate all the other plugins, and all went fine.
In the end, this issue was caused by the Newspack Campaigns plugin. Thanks a lot, James, for your help!
And I’m happy you like my website ๐ I didn’t apply to be on this showcase. This is for what?
Nice troubleshooting, very useful to know should other users encounter this also. I’ll keep a note of this on our side. I haven’t tested the plugin myself but there may be some configurations you can apply.

The link I provided is for those who’ve managed to built impressive websites using the AMP plugin. The Site Kit plugin as you know works for AMP and non AMP URLs alike, we sometimes inform users that they can showcase what they’ve built.
Let us know if you have any further queries with Site Kit. If you have a moment free we’d love to hear your plugin feedback, in particular as you use the plugin for your AMP first site.
