    Hello Nitesh,

Great work! I quickly went Pro and have enjoyed working with your plug-in.

Not being the most technical of people I found all the answers I needed in your assorted documentation and/or managed to work it all out. Which says loads for your interface.

The plug-in is live with PayPal integrated and seems to be fully working after some fine polishing and testing. Perfect! We will be putting it to work properly over the next few months.

Just one little issue (for now!). How will I manage reviews? Can I disable them? Delete them? Can reviewers edit them? It seems I currently have no way of doing this? As the auction host there may be times when I need to get in there and delete an in-appropriate or unfair comment for example. I’m probably missing something…

    Thanks for sharing your work!

    Best,

    Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

Our reviews are very generic as of now. They dont tie to any specific auction, buyer or seller. It only enables registered user to rate and provide comments.

I agree that this needs to be updated. I’ll surely make a note of it and would see if this can be provided in upcoming updates.

    Regards,
    Nitesh

Thanks for kind words. If you get time do review the plugin.

Hey, I got an idea, Stephen could simply use the Single Auction Shortcode in posts and use the comment manager WP already has. Here it is: [wdm_single_auction id=”123″]

    Thanks for that Wacha!

See that bit where you said “simply”!?

I have no idea what you are talking about!

Maybe you could break it down a bit for me!?

    : ) Hi, Stephen

Here is a screenshot of what I mean:

When it comes to finding the ID, what I do right now is:

1 View the source code of an auction’s single page on the front end
2 Copy and paste all the source code to a file on my computer
3 Do a search for “ID”. The correct number looks like this:

    <body class=”single single-ultimate-auction postid-727

    I hope this helps.

Last I heard, Nitesh is working on an easier way to find the ID# of each auction.

Yes, I’ve added ID column inside manage auction sections. I’ll release the update soon, by early next week
