    Hello,

I have noticed that in the ‘Review for Discount’ tab when I enter an email id for sending a test email and click Send Test the email id entered in this field is also automatically updated in the Email Subject and Email Heading fields. Strangely enough, this is not reflected in the test email just sent, but in any subsequent emails, the test email id which we entered earlier will be the Email Subject and Email Heading.

Recently, I made changes in the email content and sent a test email, later in the subsequent email I noticed that the Email Subject and Email Heading were updated to my test email id. There is a possibility that many of your users may have not noticed this and inadvertently exposing their email id to their customers.

Please fix this bug as early as possible and release an update.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for trying our plugin!

It sounds like you are using some browser extension that automatically fills in various fields with your contact details. Can you please try using a different browser and check if the problem still remains?

    Hello @cusrev,

    Thanks for your quick response.

We are using Google Chrome browser, and yes the email ID was auto-filled using chrome’s autofill feature. If we enter the email address manually, this issue is not reproducible.

Even if we use the autofill feature, why would the fields Email Subject and Email Heading get updated when they are not even email type edit boxes and currently not active?

To be honest, I don’t know. I’m also using Google Chrome but it works fine for me. Maybe you are using some advanced auto-fill settings or maybe the browser makes a mistake because the fields names include the word ’email’.

Anyway, it doesn’t looks like this problem is related to the plugin.

We haven’t heard from you for more than two weeks. For this reason, I’ll assume that either you are not interested in this question/problem anymore or it has been resolved. If this is not the case, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
