Have you been seeing this across the board or just on a single post, or single wordpress install? I haven’t heard about this from others yet. I think most people use the custom gallery manager though.
And I would think swapping ASC for DESC would fix this issue too!
I have this issue across the board on multiple sites on new installs running WP 3.5
I swapped DESC for ASC on all 11 instances in slideshow-satellite.php but the image order was still reversed.
I basically use the [satellite auto=on caption=off thumbs=on] shortcode as default on my posts. Then I upload the numbered photos to the post. real easy. but now they are displayed in reverse order.

I’ve got a release going out early next week. I’ll track this one down and have the fix on the next release. Thanks Chad!

Sadly (and thankfully) I’m not having this issue, my slides are displaying in whatever order I drag them to from the Media Page:

Have you tried rearranging them like I showed in that image linked above?
Ok, i found it. It’s working now fine. I never see the option Uploaded to this page – before, that’s why. My mistake.
Anyway now i see, it’s not comfortable to sort images by hands if you have a more than 10.. ASC and DESC order option added to plugin shortcode will be fine, don’t you think?

Yes, that is possible, I will look to add that next version!
Ok, that will be fine!!!
Anyway: today i debug the site and i found that the plugin generate Error Notice: Undefined index: page in /home/…/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-satellite/slideshow-satellite-plugin.php on line 58
I hope that can be fixed too.. just report.)
I am going to buy full version soon..))
Keep up the good work 🙂

Good find, my debug didn’t show that one for whatever reason, fix is in place ready for next release.
