Restricting “Edit” link to posts for editors

Awesome plugin! I only have one problem, which is that the edit link appears on some pages where it shouldn’t. I want the edit link to only appear next to posts for all roles except admin. As it is, pages such as user profile pages show an “edit” link which, when clicked, allows the person I’ve assigned editor role to make edits to the actual PAGE. This causes several risks and issues. How can I make sure the edit link only shows for posts?
