Hi,
We found the issue and we will fix it in the next plugin updates.
Hello!
This seems to still be happening even though updates have come out. In addition, the following error is also being generated from this plugin.
Background updates may not be working properly
Background updates ensure that WordPress can auto-update if a security update is released for the version you are currently using.
Warning: Could not confirm that the wp_version_check() filter is available.

Hi,
It seems that session_start() function is responsible of this Worpdress site health alert. It also occurs on your Google Captcha plugin.
Hope it helps.
Hello…the same thing is happening to my site with the contact form plugin activated.
An Active PHP session was detected
The REST API encountered an error
Your site could not complete a loopback request
Can you advise what it causing this and do I need to be alarmed that’s throwing it as critical issues to my site?
Many thanks!
Hi,
The plugin is updated. Please check if the problem remains.
Hello,
I can confirm that the problem continues for us. The site has WordPress 5.6.1 and Contact Form by BestWebSoft Version 4.2.2. If we install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and use it to disable the Contact Form by BestWebSoft plugin, the problem stops. All of the plugins and themes are up to date.
Hi,
We will investigate the issue.
Thank you.
@rwsiv I recommend finding an alternative plugin since this was first flagged as a problem almost a year ago. I was forced to make a change but would be interested to know when this is fully resolved as I may go back if it makes sense to.
