Basically I want to create a rule that says the following:

If “part number(dynamic attribute)” “is empty” than use “SKU”.

Is this possible? It seems like the only rule I can create involves defining a static “SKU” value. Basically what I want to do is Instruct the plugin to use the SKU in the google product field for “mpn” when a products default field for “mpn” is empty.

To make this work, it seems like the plugin would need a dropdown option on the “feed filters and rules” page under the rightmost “is” column, which allows you to select another field rather than just manually inputting a static value. Please let me know if there is a way to make this happen without having to wait for this feature to be added.

    Hi wooq123,

We hear you, just download the latest version of the plugin and you should be able to create a rule like this:

    Hope this helps?

How do I set the “is” field to use “SKU” in all cases where “MFG Part number” is empty?

    Hi wooq123,

Similar to how I created the filter in the example I gave on:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/rj7fjp58i9x65b4/is-empty.png?dl=0

You probably have created a (custom) attribute “MFG Part Number” in your WooCommerce store. You need to select that from the drop-down in the “IF”-column. Condition = “is empty” and select “SKU” from the drop-down in the “Then”-column.

    Hope this makes sense?

That does make sense, but when I set that rule, it simply does not replace the empty field with the item from the “then” column.

    Strange….

In order to understand how you have configured your feed I need your help.Could you go to the “Manage feeds” page and add this to your URL &debug=true

Your URL should look something like this now ….wp-admin/admin.php?page=woosea_manage_feed&debug=true

On the screen you should now see a box with a red line on the left side. Could you copy / past the content of that box and e-mail it to me at support@adtribes.io? Please reference to this topic in your email.

    All the best,
    Eva
