Hi there,
Are you using the Tumblr sharing button from Jetpack?
Did you try to remove the Tumblr sharing button in WordPress.com dashboard via Tools > Marketing > Sharing Buttons?
Also could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form.

Hi, thank you for your response..
I don’t mean the public sharing buttons, that would be easy to do and I don’t actually use those.. I mean the publishing/sharing option found in the “Add new entry” page within the WordPress administration (requires login). My WP is configured in Spanish, so the plugin in that page block is titled “Divulgar”; I mentioned “Sharing” since it’s usually the meaning.
There are three checkboxes in that block: Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr..
I disconnected Tumblr long ago and a warning message keeps popping up (always) saying I need to update the connection with that service (Tumblr). This is what I what to get rid of. To disable completely Tumblr.
Do you know perhaps a database entry I can remove?
Hi there,
Hmm..from your comment, it looks like that is custom implemented (maybe using a third-party plugin or directly injected into your theme’s code) and not through Jetpack.
Could you please share the screenshot of the full page that has those buttons?
To upload and share a screenshot, you can use this platform: https://snipboard.io
Details on how to make screenshot can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot

It’s a standard Jetpack implementation installed from the WordPress plugin manager. There are no customizations and the warning shows up in the admin interface (add new entry).
Here’s the screenshot:

This warning has been showing up for years.. I only logged on to Tumblr once to test it, but never actually used it. I disabled that connection that same day. I’ve already tried re-connecting and disconnecting a few times. The message just keeps showing up.
I’ve also tried removing the plugin and reinstalling from the plugin manager. But once is installed and I login to Jetpack the same error shows up again.

Hi @mdnava
Can you try disconnecting via your Tumblr account as described in steps 3 & 4 here?
https://jetpack.com/support/publicize/tumblr/#reconnecting-tumblr
If that doesn’t help, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

Thanks!

The site is lhistoria.com
As I mentioned, I’ve already disconnected Tumblr.
Is not connected as you can see here:
https://snipboard.io/omV0GI.jpg
And I’ve also removed WP from Apps access in the Tumblr admin interface.
But the warning keeps showing up.
Hi @mdnava
I don’t see a Tumblr connection for your site on our end. Could you provide a screenshot of the error message you’re seeing?

I posted the error three days ago (as required):

I’ve already disconnected Tumblr:

But the error keeps appearing, that’s the issue..
I’d like to remove that message.
