There’s a work-around in that issue that involves using an mu-plugin; we’re also working on a patch but I don’t have a timeline for when it will be released, but hopefully soon!
As @markob17 suggested, that’s indeed a known issue we will fix in the next Jetpack release.
Until then, you can use the code snippet mentioned in the linked GitHub issue to bring the Related Posts back to your site. You’ll need to place that code in a functionality plugin like this one:
