    My site is hosted on a secured internal server.

    Is the site publicly accessible? Since Jetpack relies on the WordPress.com cloud for most of its features, your site does indeed need to be publicly accessible to communicate with WordPress.com. If that’s not the case, and if WordPress.com can’t access your site, you’ll need to use Jetpack’s Development mode, to be able to use all the Jetpack features that do not require a connection to WordPress.com.

    If your site is publicly accessible, it could be that some requests are still blocked by your company. Could you post the site URL here, so I can have a look?
