I’m not sure I understand the use-case…. if the amount is $0.00 there is no need for them to make a payment, as nothing is owed.
Have you considered our Donation plugin instead? That seems more like what your charity would benefit most from: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-paypal-donation/
There are 5 amounts to choose from, when the “0.00” is set it does not send the user to PayPal at all
Is there a reason why you would want the user to be taken to PayPal for $0.00? PayPal cannot process a payment for zero, so I’m not sure why you would want them to be taken to a payment page if they have selected no payment.
Ni they need to specify the dollar amount, but I don’t know how to translate that into your plugin
Ah, I see, the user is choosing a donation amount from a set list.
Please review our tutorial here for passing a dropdown value to the plugin:
https://wpplugin.org/documentation/link-a-dropdown-menu-to-the-price-in-paypal/
Thank you that helped, however price didn’t translate in the PayPal sandbox. It came up blank and the description is showing the menu number I inserted. So do I need the additional fields I created of “donation” and “total amount” or should I remove those?
Also, I am not seeing dynamic values – I am only seeing Gateway code and Item Description/SKU
Still looking for assistance on this as we are getting ready to launch the Campaign for fundraising.
