Hello @jkdion,
Thank you for using Direct Stripe.
Also thank you for reporting this issue, I found an error while processing redirections.
I updated Direct Stripe to 2.1.7.2, this version fixes that error.
Let me know if you have oher concerns with Direct Stripe.
Best wishes,

Hi Nicolas
This does not work. The global settings or the button over-ride settings both do not work. I have done the upgrade.
When I put the redirect settings in the button setup, it looks like it saves, but when I go back in, it won’t save it.
Can I get around it with shortcode?
John
Hello @jkdion,
I’m sorry about that, it seems that previous update was incomplete. I pushed the fix to version 2.1.7.3.

Hi Nicolas
It is still not saving the redirect links on the button settings?
Is there something else I need to look at?

Hi Nicolas
When I added a new button it saved the redirect link but not the error link.
I will test it tomorrow to see if it works.
Hope that helps

Hi there following up,
I did the test and the redirect on success works, it does not save the failed link still.
The software is a bit flimsy. When I go to edit it saves some things and not others. For example, I set the button up as $1 to test, when I go back in to change the price it would not save – so I deleted it and re-entered it.
Can I suggest an actual save button, not sure if it is a browser issue.
I actually love the simplicity of this if it worked as designed. It is a really good plugin if you could iron this out. Happy to do further testing to help.
Hope this helps.
John
Hello @jkdion,
Thank you for the feedback.
I could not reproduce an issue with Error page not saving.
Do the “Saved” green popup show after you edit settings ?
In case you are not sure if the setting saved, please click out the input field and wait for the Saved popup to show.
I’m aware that the admin app requires a lot more work and testing, I really mean to make all features work as expected and wouldn’t take the excuse that the plugin is free when we find a broken feature. But I also realize that in order to polish the interface and develop proper unit/integration tests, would require monetizing the plugin and can’t be done on my spare time, I hope you understand.
Also, you can inspect the settings saved from a browser at yourdomain.ext/wp-json/direct-stripe/v1/settings and the buttons settings at yourdomain.ext/wp-json/direct-stripe/v1/buttons
Please let me know what happen when you try to save the redirection page for failed payments.
Best wishes,
Nico

Thanks for that – yes the save thing does come up but it does not always work. I will look at the settings. When I try to save the redirection it looks like it works, the save twirly comes up. But when I go back to the dashboard and refresh and come back my edits did not take.
If you want to talk about monetizing, I would be happy to promote this. How much do you want per sale. We would need to do a little bit of work on the interface, but happy to talk, I have internet marketing partners I could push this through.
Especially if we are talking a low fee, I think we could do some good stuff with it.
Happy to talk my email is john@the-anti-marketer.com

Hello @jkdion,
Thank you for your help offer, I didn’t plan to monetize yet but will think about that after my current projects are over.
Best wishes,
Nico
