[Resolved] Redirect Loop Error

Every time I install and active the Magic Action Box plugin and then try to view my site, I get a redirect error. I’m able to look at my site through the WordPress admin panel “View Page” option, but if I try and access my site as a normal web user, the error appears. The error disappears once I deactivate the plugin.

I really like how the plugin works and would like to have it successfully work on my site! I am using the Inovado theme (if that means anything). I should also state that I am a VERY new user of wordpress and don’t have a technical background, so simple explanations would be helpful:) Thank you!

Hi, not sure how the plugin can produce a redirect error. Can you tell us what the redirect error is? also, a link to your website may help.

I’m not sure either – well, I’m not really sure what a redirect is. My site is http://www.melissajohhc.com. The redirect error doesn’t happen now because I uninstalled the plugin. The error reads this:

This webpage has a redirect loop

    LessReload
The webpage at http://melissajohhc.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

    Error code: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I installed the plugin, set up an action box, activated one at the bottom of a post, and that’s it. And, like I said previously, if I deactivate the plugin, I don’t get the error.
