Thank you very much for your very fast response and fix! I first tried to update but I think you need to tweak the plugin’s version number for the installation process.
I worked around it by deactivating and deleting the plugin, downloading the zip file an uploading/reinstalling. Tested a Quick Edit and indeed, the action did not change my OSD searchable status. 🙂

I did have some troubles at the time in accessing WordPress.org and I cannot be sure that was a factor. In any case, perhaps worth double-checking from your end because the official version still showed 1.5 to me.
