When I follow the guides and try inserting images, I have some confusions.
I add a row called image in the csv, then which wp fields should I map this image row? Is it featured_image or others? Because when I follow this way, I find no image in my post.

And can you let me know where this image is usually inserted in the post?

Yes, you should map image row in the featured_image field. If you have any problem with this, please send your csv file for further support.

For inline images, no need for separate column to import images. Use html tags to insert images in the post-content column. For featured image only you need separate columns in csv file to import images. Give image url or image id in this column. But use image id option only when the images are uploaded in your media library.
