    Hi Andy,

To be perfectly honest… I haven’t had much of an opportunity to work with this plugin in the WPMU environment.

If you don’t mind… perhaps I can use you as a “tester”??

What exactly happens when you attempt to use the plugin as it stands? My understanding is you can “network ativate” the plugin… and then it should only be configurable by the ‘super admin’. Is this not what happens?

    Hi Josh,

When activating the plugin “network activate” all the options are available for every user.

It would be nice if only superadmin can configure tinymce for all the users.Users don’t even have to see the options…

    Is this possible ?

    Kind Regards
    Andy

    Hi Andy,

Yes, I’m sure it’s possible. I will just need to dig in and see how multisites set permissions differently… and adjust the code accordingly.

Honestly.. We have been swamped with development of our Pro version. So, this is likely a change that will only be available in Pro.

So, to entice you to help… how about we provide you with a complementary version of Pro.. and you can help us test.

    Sound like a plan?

Once I have your email addy.. I’ll send you a copy of Pro.

We can begin working on this together via email.

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

If UT is network activated or activated just as one site at a time, a contributor, subscriber or editor does not have permission to access the plugin or the settings for the plugin.

They can access the UT editor but that’s it. Only the admin has permission to change the settings, or install or uninstall the plugin.

That is on WP 3.5.1 Multisite.

If you are going for standardization among the sites, I would think an admin would want all settings to be the same. That’s the way it works now. The network admin activates it for all sites and then sets the settings for all sites.
