Hello,

I already setup GTM and follow all instruction. I see the “purchase” event name in setting of GA4. But I don’t know how does it work for this event (does it trigger when order-receive page display?). If I want to modify, how can I do it?

Hi,

The purchase event only triggers on the order received page while the page loads. It includes all the necessary ecommerce data GA needs: revenue, transaction id, product IDs, prices and quantities.

To alter the data you might want to use the gtm4wp_eec_product_array or the gtm4wp_compile_datalayer filter depending on what part of the ecommerce data you would like to change:
