Also I’ve tried uninstalling, disconnecting from wordpress, turning off all other plugins and it still won’t work. None of the social media channels will connect.

On our end, it is showing connected social network connections. Let’s try resetting them.
Can you remove the WordPress app from Facebook/Twitter by following these instructions: http://jetpack.me/support/publicize/facebook/#reconnecting-facebook
http://jetpack.me/support/publicize/twitter/#reconnecting-twitter (particularly the section about deleting the WordPress app from Facebook/Twitter).
Then, can you sign out of Facebook/Twitter/WordPress.com and your site, then start fresh? In some cases, a cookie might contain something that was unexpected causing hiccups in the process.

I didn’t think that would work as I had revoked access to the apps already BUT it worked!! Logging out did the trick! Thanks a million it was driving me mad wondering why it wouldn’t connect
My guess is there might have been a stale/broken/something cookie from being “partly” logged in throwing all kinds of fits. Sometimes best to clean house than figure out why something got dirty 😉
