    Hi,

    I have added a Custom field in which Product tags are being outputted to the feed.

    Just checked the feed and about 3 quarters of the way down the feed and tags are being duplicated as follows:

    <ProductTags>
    Cotton,Cream,Navy,Panel,Premium,Sports Grey,SS18,Summer 2018,T-Shirt,Cotton,Cream,Navy,Panel,Premium,Short Sleeve,Sports Grey,SS18,Summer 2018,T-Shirt
    </ProductTags>

    I have checked the concerned product pages and you can only add a single tag as duplicates are not accepted. Have i potentially missed something off? Please advise.

    Thanks

  • Hi Imiweb1,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. I am not entirely sure how you have configured your feed so I need your help.

    Could you go to the “Manage feeds” page and add this to your URL &debug=true
    Your URL should look something like this now:
    ….wp-admin/admin.php?page=woosea_manage_feed&debug=true

    On the screen you should now see a box with a red line on the left side. Could you copy / past the content of that box and e-mail it to me at support@adtribes.io and reference to this issue?

    It will help me to understand how exactly you have configured your product feed.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Imran,

    Thanks, I got your email. I see you have created a Google Shopping feed. Google will not allow you to add your own custom fields to the feed like you did. The field ‘ProductTags’ is not a field that Google will recognise so you need to remove it otherwise your products will get disapproved by Google.

    Similar for these fields you added:

    Stock:
    Google does not have a stock field where you can put in a number. Google works with ‘availability’. See: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324448?hl=en

    All you need to do is map g:availability to the availability attribute. The plugin will than automatically determine what to put in.

    Category:
    Google expects the field to be named g:google_product_category. It won’t accept ‘Category’. Please use the g:google_product_category and map it to the ‘Category’ field. On the next page you will need to map your categories to Google’s category taxonomy.

    Hope this helps?

    All the best,
    Eva
