Hi amesresearch,
We have lots of users creating product review feeds for Google and none had their feed disapproved because of a wrong XML-child order. As far as we are aare their is no required order. This also isn’t mentioned anywhere in their documentation, see: https://developers.google.com/product-review-feeds/schema/
Could you show me where you found the information that the order does matter?
All the best
Eva
Hi,
Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and our help/support is no longer needed we are going to close this topic now for housekeeping reasons.
Please feel free to reach out again whenever you need our help again.
All the best,
Eva
Hi Eva,
I have this requirement sent to me directly from a member of Google Product Ratings Team.
Please allow me to inform you that the feed file should be in compliance with our schema and the sequence of attributes should be same as our sample feed.
I checked the feed file and found that the sequence of attributes in the ratings feed is different than our sample feed due to which our system is not detecting the identifiers correctly.
Once you update the feed file with the correct sequence, the diagnostics tab will not show the "missing product_id's" error.
This is verbatim that was sent to me when I submitted my feed for review.
Hi amesresearch,
Thanks for your reply. We checked Google’s comments and it seems there was an issue with the identifier attributes, not really the order of it but it was missing parts of the XML. That is why we have just pushed out a new release of the plugin (version 5.5.4) that should fix the issue at hand.
Could you update the plugin and give it a try?
All the best,
Eva
I’m still getting the error of missing product_id’s but, as you can see in our feed, that they are there:
https://www.amesresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/845ace969569e0c2d9f8894456706795.xml
Any Idea?
The feed also has an empty review, with no content or rating, do you know how I can debug this and have that rating removed? I do have the premium version of the plugin.
Hi amesresearch,
Could you update to version 5.5.7 of our plugin. It should solve both issues you are reporting.
Best,
Eva
I have updated an submitted to google merchant center. I will update here when I have one.
Thank you for being so responsive.
Everything looks like it is good to go, thank you so much for responding and pushing updates!
Perfect, thats good to hear.
Thanks for taking the effort to let us know something was wrong so we could fix and approve our plugin. Much appreciated!
Best,
Eva
