Problems with Facebook Social Sharing

Since Facebook was hacked and 50,000 plus accounts were breached, I decided it was high time to change my Facebook password, and add two-factor authentication. The plugin advised me that my Facebook connection was not working and to reconnect. No surprise there, so this is what I did:
1. Click on Refresh Connection with Facebook
2. A pop up comes up and says “You have successfully connected your Facebook account with Jetpack.” with a list of pages that I manage, including the one I want.
3. Click on the page I want
4. Leave Make this connection available to all users of the blog blank
5. Hit OK
6. The sharing page comes back and says ”
Connected as: The Good Plate – Adrienne Boswell ×
This connection may not be working correctly

I also tried deleting the connection altogether and reconnecting. I got the same thing both times.

I am surprised that I was not asked for the new password, and I’m sure that might be what is missing, or it could be that I have to disable 2FA? Please advise.
