    Hello,

After updating/reinstalling The Events Calendar, my website shows the following fatal error: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1201078272) (tried to allocate 133859789 bytes) in /home/hebyfhse/public_html/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php on line 2357

I have tried reinstalling the plugin, but the problem persists.

If I deactivate The Events Calendar, the website works fine.

I suspect this might be related to memory usage caused by the plugin. Is there a recommended solution or fix for this issue?

    Hi @samuelsoder44 ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

For us to understand and learn more about your setup, could you provide the version of the following?

    1. PHP
    2. WordPress
    3. The Events Calendar
    4. Events Calendar Pro (if using)
    5. Theme and Version

    Hi @samuelsoder44

    Thanks for your response.

I attempted to recreate the issue on my test site by updating The Events Calendar to the latest version, but everything is working as expected. I wasn’t able to reproduce the problem you described.

It’s possible that a plugin or theme conflict on your site is causing the problem. To help isolate the issue, I recommend running a quick conflict test: activate only our plugins along with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One, and then check if the issue still occurs.

If everything works as expected in that setup, you can begin reactivating your other plugins and theme one by one. This will help pinpoint exactly what’s triggering the conflict.

I highly recommend doing this on a staging site to keep your live site safe and uninterrupted. If you haven’t set one up yet, the WP Staging plugin makes the process quick and easy.

Let me know how it goes.
