[Resolved] Problem with admin redirection

  • Looks like the plug-in has problems to redirect if the WordPress installation is in a subdirectory of the domain.
In my case the blog is at “www.webxprs.com/blogdepunisher/” and the the plugin is active redirects to “www.webxprs.com/admin/”, which obviously does not exist.
    My permalinks structure is “http://www.webxprs.com/blogpunisher/post/”

    rmonton,

Thanks for bringing up the issue. I will look at this this weekend and update the plugin. This is kind of a big issue.

Are you about to login? If not; FTP into your site and change the harden-wp plugin folder name. The plugin should clean the rewrite rules when you do this.

No problem!!.. Thanks for your answer.

Yes, that is exactly what I did to get back to login on my site.
Another quick fix is rename or delete the .htaccess file

I just tried deleting the .htaccess file because it was doing the same thing for me and now I STILL can’t log in my website.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

I go to /admin and /wp-admin and wp-login and every time I type in the username and password it takes me to the website…
