I have upgraded to version 12.3.6 and have tested enabling Allow opt-out. The text is displayed at the bottom of the visitor’s screen. However, the accept url and the cancel url links don’t appear to do anything when clicked on. If I replace the shortcodes given by default with the full URLs, namely, //mysite.com/?wp_statistics_opt_out=0 or =1, that changes nothing. Nothing happens.
On the other hand, if I enter the accept url directly in the browser, then the message is no longer displayed.

So what is supposed to happen?

Second, related, question, I understand that a cookie is supposed to be created with the answer to the question. But I cannot find any cookie that appears to have that information. So what is the name of the cookie?

  • When calling ?wp_statistics_opt_out=1 on 12.3.6 a Cookie named “wp_statistics_opt_out” is set in the HTTP-answer.

I have the same problem, the issue is not resolved. Nothing happens, I need to click several times. In the mobile version, the text of the opt-out covers almost half the screen. And the accept/deny are so small, they are barely clickable. Please resolve this!
