I’m not sure if we mean the same. However I do notice a different behaviour on mobile phones and tablets. On your normal PC when you hover the image you will see the arrow for next/previous, which is fine for me. However, on mobile and tablets you have to click first to see the arrow and then click again to go to the next image. So for that reason I would like to preload the next/previous image to. Can the author say something about this different behaviour and a possible solution?
Also I notice that If I change my screen for mobile or tablet, the image will not get resized to the size when I open it ‘new’ in that mode (it stays bigger). Anything to do about that as well?
No, preloading is not possible. Not without heavy modifications…
About the mobile issue(s): the script was originally created without mobile in mind — it’s that ‘old’ already 😉 — but I did some modifications to prevent a really annoying behaviour on iPad/Phone devices where it would keep ‘resizing’ causing strange behaviour. This meant giving up / disabling resizing the image when the mobile screen resizes (upon tilting the device) which is sad but cannot easily be worked around differently.
I know you are also working on a next version, I believe with mobile in mind.
But for know, do you also recognize this problem:
On your normal PC when you hover the image you will see the arrow for next/previous, which is fine for me. However, on mobile and tablets you have to click first to see the arrow and then click again to go to the next image.
Is there a solution for this specific problem?
