    Hi,

I set up a pop-up to appear after users spend 20 seconds on the page. I am using a coffee theme and it works fine when previewing in the backend, but on the actual page it’s transparent. This makes the pop-up merge with the copy and image son the page.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks,
    Taras

  • Hi @tarassemeniuk,

Sometimes it happens that the theme styling, which isn’t applied in admin section, actually has an effect on the frontend of the site but I’m afraid that I couldn’t see any CSS code in the console that could be causing this issue.

I did notice that you’re using Autoptimize so could you try disabling it temporarily and see if the background shows up properly after that so we can see if it could be related to that?

    Cheers,
    Predrag

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,
