Pointless Don’t Bother!

    Don’t bother installing this as it’s a pointless e-commerce system as there is no payment gateway included.

    They expect you to pay an expensive and rip off subscription price even to accept PayPal payments!

    So I have to ask. Why bother releasing this plugin as it’s of no use without all these over priced greedy subscription services?

    You need to tell people on the description page that a subscription service is required to take payments before they waste their time setting things up! Instead of tricking them into downloading and installing this plugin. Then asking for a greedy subscription to take payments!

    IMO you should include PayPal for free and not expect people to pay a totally unaffordable subscription price especially for people who are in a country where their dollar is so week and in my case Australia.

    So unless you have deep pockets and lots of money for greedy subscriptions each year? Then avoid this plugin like you would avoid COVID-19!

Even if your subscription expires, the functionality remains, and the plugin will continue working as before. The subscription only covers updates and ongoing support—not the basic use of the plugin or its features.

    We understand that not every business has the same budget, and we do our best to offer flexible options like affordable extension bundles. The pricing reflects the continued development, support, and maintenance of these integrations to ensure they work reliably and securely.

    So as I understand it?

    I can buy the PayPal plugin once and I don’t have to pay a subscription fee to keep using it? Like it won’t stop working for me after the subscription ends?

    I understand your e-commerce solution has had a lot of thought and work put into it and I don’t mind buying items that are one off. But I object to subscription based items as these things add up and I simply can’t afford to pay for all these.

    Yes, you’re correct. Once you purchase the PayPal plugin, it’s yours to use indefinitely. It will not stop working even if the subscription ends. The subscription is only for ongoing updates and support, so you’ll still have access to all the features of the plugin even after your subscription expires.
