[Plugin: WP User Frontend] Excluding categories from dropdown syntax

  • I’m trying to exclude a number of categories from the dropdown with the “Exclude category ID’s” option. I’m not sure what to put in here for each category (name, slug) and the syntax needed (comma separated, space separated).

If someone could share an example or point me to another topic that addresses this that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

  • I have the same problem. Tried entering categories in lower (slug) & upper/lower formats. Separated by commas and singly – but nothing worked. A solution would be wonderful!

Any solution to this yet? I am having the same problem.

I’m using this effectively by putting the id of each category separated with a space (no commas or anything). This is removing them from the dropdown list for me.

eckstein’s suggestion works for me as well
