[Plugin: Wickett Twitter Widget] Retweets not shown

    Hi! Great plugin.
    Installed and configured like a charm. No errors at all.

    Got my tweets correctly shown on the wordpress site in less than a minute.

    My retweets, though, aren’t shown. I double checked to see if they are included on the RSS and yes, they are.
    So…
    Is this the expected plugin behavior? Is there a config to show retweets?

    By default the Twitter response for a given user does not include retweets. It is possible to explicitly request retweets from Twitter using the include_rts parameter, which would require possibly adding “RT @user ” to the beginning of the Tweet text to reference an author not associated with the current account.

    The Wickett plugin uses the Twitter API JSON response, not RSS.

    Version 1.0.5 includes the ability to display retweets. Please try it out and let us know how it works for you.
